Salwa Al-Hajabed

Salwa Al-Hajabed is a Praxis Advisor for the online engineering programs at the George Washington University. She is also a Site Reliability Engineer at Visa, where she has over five years of experience supporting the uptime and reliability of 3DS platforms that enable secure authentication for online transactions. Her work focuses on infrastructure reliability, automation, and upholding strong cybersecurity standards, including the development of solutions for fraud detection.

Salwa earned a Doctor of Engineering in Cybersecurity Analytics from the George Washington University. She also holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Science with a specialization in Cybersecurity from the University of Cincinnati, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with specializations in Information Assurance and Business from the University of Findlay, where she was also a member of the collegiate softball team.
