Michael Darko, D.Eng.

Dr. Darko currently serves as an IT Security Engineer at BFSFCU. He provides technical expertise and leadership to develop and implement effective cybersecurity strategies. These strategies focus on protecting information assets and systems against ever-evolving security threats. His research interests include Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud security, and high-performance computing.

Dr. Darko holds a D.Eng. in Cybersecurity Analytics and an M.Eng. in Cybersecurity Policy & Compliance from The George Washington University. He also has an M.S. in Telecommunications & Computers from The George Washington University and a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Science & Technology.
