Ahmadreza Mahmoudzadeh

Dr. Ahmadreza Mahmoudzadeh is a data scientist and educator currently serving within Ford Motor Company’s Global Data Insight & Analytics (GDI&A) division. His expertise includes the development of agentic AI workflows, Operations Research models, Machine Learning models, and large-scale cloud development and automation. Dr. Mahmoudzadeh’s professional work has resulted in numerous patents and peer-reviewed publications. In 2025, he was part of the team honored with the Henry Ford Technology Award—the company’s highest honor for technical achievement—for the development of the Home Power Management Service, which enables electric vehicle owners to optimize home energy use and achieve significant cost savings. He was also part of the team recognized with the Ford Champion Award for the global impact of this initiative.
Prior to his current role, Dr. Mahmoudzadeh collaborated with the Texas A&M Transportation Institute and served as an Instructional Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University-Galveston. He earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering and an M.S. in Industrial & Systems Engineering from Texas A&M University. His research on transportation and shared mobility has earned him national acclaim, including the Parsons Brinckerhoff / Jim Lammie Scholarship from the American Public Transportation Foundation and a spot on Mass Transit Magazine’s "Top 40 Under 40" list for 2020.
