Dr. Muhammad Solichin is an adjunct professor in the online doctoral programs in Systems Engineering and Engineering Management at The George Washington University in Washington, DC, and a seasoned engineering professional with over 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. His expertise spans leadership and technical roles in electrical and controls engineering, offshore stimulation vessel development, systems engineering, automation research and development, technology commercialization, and data science.
He currently serves as a Principal Electrical Engineer, collaborating with a global team to develop offshore stimulation vessels, while also serving as Project Manager for digital systems, controls, and automation. He has contributed to technology development as part of a global team that created and commercialized an automation product for hydraulic fracturing. In addition, he developed machine learning and deep learning algorithms for equipment failure alerts, improving predictive maintenance and operational performance.
Dr. Solichin holds a Doctor of Engineering in Engineering Management from The George Washington University, as well as a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and an MBA from Texas Tech University.
