Dr. Nicholas C. Birosik is an Adjunct Professor for the Online Engineering Programs at The George Washington University, where he advises doctoral candidates in artificial intelligence and machine learning. He holds a D.Eng. in AI and Machine Learning from GWU, an MBA in IT Management from Western Governors University, an MIA in International Cyber Security from Penn State Law, and dual B.S./B.A. degrees in Social Data Analytics and Political Science from Penn State’s Schreyer Honors College. His doctoral research focused on AI-driven suicide risk prevention for U.S. veterans through tailored resource referrals. Earlier in his career, he served as an officer with the U.S. Federal Government, producing technical assessments for senior policymakers, and he has also worked on data and technology systems supporting suicide prevention and mental health screening.

Dr. Birosik is the Founder and President of NicNac Charities, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on reducing the digital divide and supporting nonprofit capacity-building. He is also the Founder and Lead Consultant of Dartboard Systems, a software and consulting firm that develops database-driven platforms for clients in sectors including agriculture, grocery, education, and payment processing. His work combines software development, data systems, cybersecurity, nonprofit leadership, and applied AI, with a particular interest in using technology to support public service, mental health, education, and community-focused initiatives.
