Dr. Kishor Chakravarthy is an adjunct professor for the Online Engineering Programs at The George Washington University. He holds a Doctor of Engineering in Artificial Intelligence from The George Washington University, where he also earned his Master’s in Systems Engineering.
With over two decades of experience at the intersection of systems engineering, enterprise architecture, and emerging technologies, he brings deep practitioner expertise to the classroom. In his current role as a technology leader at a prominent Defense technology solutions company, he leads the development and deployment of Artificial Intelligence-based solutions and the application of digital engineering practices across large-scale, mission-critical programs. Throughout his career, Dr. Chakravarthy has architected and delivered complex technology solutions spanning cloud infrastructure, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and agile transformation, working across industries including defense, telecommunications, healthcare, and financial services. He has led globally distributed engineering teams, guided organizations through legacy modernization and cloud migration, and championed the adoption of digital engineering methodologies to modernize and transform how complex systems are designed, developed, and delivered.
