Ghiath (Gio) is a cybersecurity leader specializing in post-quantum cryptography (PQC), emerging technologies, and blockchain security. He serves as an advisor in the Doctor of Engineering program in Cybersecurity Analytics at George Washington University, supporting doctoral research in advanced cryptography and secure architectures.

He previously taught blockchain and security-focused technologies at Clark University, focusing on the practical application of cryptographic systems and secure design principles.

Professionally, Gio has led and contributed to cybersecurity initiatives across global financial, technology, and cybersecurity organizations, with experience in infrastructure security, cloud security, PQC migration, and Zero Trust Architecture, bridging academic research with real-world implementation.
