Ould Vadel, D.Eng.,

Dr. Vadel is an IT leader with over 15 years of experience in data management and software development, with a focus on cloud data platforms, relational database management systems, data analysis, data engineering, data replication & migration, data warehousing, and ETL tools & processes. Dr. Vadel currently leads a team of software engineers and data architects at GDIT supporting operations and maintenance of a cloud data platform that stores and manages healthcare data for a virtual research data center.

Dr. Vadel holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a doctor of engineering from the George Washington University. He has over 7 years of experience in delivering higher education quality teaching, and in developing course contents and syllabi. His main research interests include cybersecurity, data anonymization and AI/ML.
