Joel Goodman, Ph.D.

Dr. Joel Goodman is an adjunct professor for the Online Engineering Programs at the George Washington University in Washington, DC. Dr. Goodman spent nearly 20 years at MIT Lincoln Laboratory and 15 years with the US Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, DC, serving in various technical leadership positions. He is currently a Science Director with the Office of Naval Research Global and serves as an attaché to the US Embassy in Singapore. His research interests include artificial intelligence, machine learning, autonomy, decision support systems and signal processing.

Dr. Goodman received his Ph.D. in System Engineering from the George Washington University. He also holds a  Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Boston University, and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.
