John Kamp, D.Eng.

Dr. John Kamp is a member of the research staff and professor at the George Washington University. He is a retired naval officer, a Fellow in the Royal Institution of Naval Architects, and a Department of Defense civil servant with over 30 years of direct experience in military operations, new program development and program management. His current research interests include engineering management, and machine learning and autonomy applications for maritime systems. Dr. Kamp has a Doctor of Engineering degree in Engineering Management from the George Washington University and a Master of Engineering degree in Nuclear Engineering from Iowa State University.
