Dr. Andrea Molina serves as an Adjunct Professor for Online Engineering Programs at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., leveraging over 16 years of industry experience addressing challenges in the Command, Control, Communication, Computer, Cyber & Intelligence (C5I) domain within the Department of Homeland Security. As a Naval Aviator qualified to pilot Ocean Sentry HC-144A, King Air 260 T54, and Beechcraft T6B, she also brings extensive aviation expertise. Dr. Molina's research interests focus on C5I acquisitions, artificial intelligence, and machine learning applications for intrusion detection in aviation. Currently, Dr. Molina serves as an active duty commissioned officer, where she holds the position of Branch Chief of Cyber Mission Capabilities at the Coast Guard Cyber Command, leading a team of engineers and project managers dedicated to cutting-edge cyber capabilities.

Dr. Molina holds a Doctorate of Engineering in Cyber Analytics from The George Washington University. She also has a Master’s in Technology Management from Georgetown University, a Master’s in Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and a dual Bachelor’s in Economics and Information Science & Technology from the Pennsylvania State University.
