Dr. Abdi Awl is an Adjunct Professor for the Online Engineering Programs at the George Washington University in Washington, DC. With over two decades of IT industry experience, Dr. Awl has an extensive background working with Fortune 500 companies as well as in the realm of higher education. His expertise in the IT sector spanning across various IT domains, from database to system architecture to cloud computing to cybersecurity has given him valuable insights that he brings to his academic role.

Dr. Awl holds a Doctoral in Engineering Management (D.Eng.) from George Washington University and a M.S. in Telecommunications from George Mason University. Additionally, he earned a B.S. in Computer Science from George Mason University.
